Having A Baby!

What a great time everyone had Sunday at the book release party. There was a very good crowd and such a wonderful facility. If you have not been to the Brentwood Library it’s worth coming to Nashville just to see it. I love it. Thanks Susan Earl (library director) and all your staff for your support. You were all so helpful.
I’ll never know what it’s like to give birth to a baby, but I think it is something like releasing (giving birth to) a book. There is usually lots of thought, anxiety, and preparation about beginning the pregnancy. And there is the joy of conceiving followed by the long and often uncomfortable pregnancy. And the closer you (read me) get to the birth date the more nervous you become! The last month or two are difficult, your mind is constantly on the new baby, and sleep is all but impossible; its absence causes irritability, at least it did for me!
There is great excitement and joy when the pains of labor are gone. Now is the time to show your baby to the world. And that is what we did Sunday, and what we will continue to do for the duration of the baby’s life.
I will be on the nationally syndicated Phil Valentine talk show tomorrow afternoon. To find out when and where he will be in your location go to his website: http://www.philvalentine.com/ and click on “Find an Affiliate” way down on the right side. I hope you can get him in your area.
Wish me luck. I hope Phil and all of you will love my baby!!
